Black Diamond is “Orochi” that inherited lamé (glitters) from a black medaka with black eyes, belly, and fins.
It was created by Mr. Nakazato in Kanagawa Prefecture and was completed in the F4 (4th generation) by crossing “Orochi” and “Hoshikawa (blue lamé Miyuki).” Since mating is carried out with carefully selected individuals, the fixation rate is high.
