Recris was introduced by Mr./Ms. Maimedaka in 2021. It shines like gold, with a body color that is almost yellow and a dense gold lamé on its back. The name “Recris” seems to derive from the English word “reckless,” suggesting that this breed was created through bold or adventurous crossbreeding. Though it is a gold lamé medaka, it also has long fins, enhancing its impressive appearance. The long fins give it a voluminous look, making it enjoyable to admire from both the side and above.
