Hi, I’m Sarah, founder of SNR Medaka USA.
I didn’t start this as a business. I simply fell in love with medaka. What began as curiosity grew into something much deeper, and over time, they became a meaningful part of my life.
If you’re here, you’ve probably already seen what makes them special. They may be small, but they carry incredible beauty, personality, and variety. The more you get into medaka, the more there is to appreciate.
I started SNR Medaka USA to share that experience with others. My goal is to bring rare, healthy, high quality medaka to the US and help more people discover how unique these fish truly are.
To me, medaka has always been something to enjoy. Something that brings a sense of calm. It’s a hobby that fits into your life, not something that should take over it. When you’re in a good place, both mentally and physically, that’s when you can truly enjoy keeping them and raising them well.
Every fish I offer is carefully selected with a strong focus on health, quality, and lineage. I work with reputable breeders, and each import goes through proper quarantine to ensure they transition safely before reaching your home.
I believe in doing this the right way. Ethical breeding, proper care, and sharing medaka with people who genuinely appreciate them.
