SNR Medaka Group Import

1. Request access Sign in and request import access. SNR Medaka reviews and approves every participant.
2. Reserve your pairs Approved members see per-pair pricing and reserve with a 50% deposit. Orders are final: no changes or refunds once placed, because we order from the breeders on your behalf. Please decide carefully.
3. We reserve with the breeder As soon as your deposit clears, we reserve your exact pairs with the breeder. If a pair becomes unavailable (health issues or a local sale), you'll receive a refund or the option to choose a replacement.
4. Import & quarantine The fish fly to our facility and complete about 10 days of quarantine and health checks. During this period we post videos of every imported strain on YouTube.
5. Balance payment The remaining 50% balance is due
6. Delivery Your pairs ship only after full payment is received, or are ready for local pickup.

These dates are our current plan and may shift a little depending on flight schedules, the fish's condition, and weather. We'll keep you updated — thank you for your understanding.

Your total is medaka price + international shipping + domestic shipping. A 50% deposit — of the medaka price, international shipping, and its share of domestic shipping — is due when you reserve; the rest is your final balance after your fish arrive in the US.

• Medaka price The per-pair price of each strain, set by the breeder and shown on approved accounts.
• International shipping — $35.00 / pair Our overseas logistics cost per pair: air cargo, tariffs, customs brokerage, and airport fees to bring the fish from Japan and Korea. This is the largest added cost.
• Domestic shipping Shipping from our facility to you within the continental US, added once per order by total pairs.

Group import is a chance to buy imported medaka for less than our web store. While prices vary by strain, group import participants always receive a discounted rate compared to our regular retail listings. This is our way of giving an advantage to hobbyists who join our group imports and support responsible, legal medaka sourcing.

Larger orders earn an extra volume discount on the fish price, and American Medaka Association members save even more.
