Live Fish (Medaka)
- Once a live fish order has been fulfilled (packed/shipped), it cannot be canceled. If there is any issue with the fish on arrival, please refer to our DOA policy and contact us right away at snrmedaka@gmail.com. Live fish cannot be returned. Please place orders carefully—returns for live animals are not possible.
Dry Goods (non-live items)
- Refunds are accepted only if the item is unused and in its original, unopened packaging.
- You must request a return within 7 days of delivery.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend a trackable shipping method.
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Report Issues
- If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email snrmedaka@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging.

Shipping Schedule:
- We ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays to minimize weekend delays.
- Orders placed after Tuesday 12 PM EST will be shipped the following Monday.
Delayed Shipment Claim:
If your package arrives later than your selected UPS service, you may file a claim with UPS. Please take photos of the shipping label and the box and email them to snrmedaka@gmail.com.

When I saw that they were listed as “culls,” I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what kind of fish I would receive. Still, I trusted that even SNR Medaka’s culls wouldn’t be unattractive fish, so I decided to place the order.
I made a special request when ordering, and although the seller was under no obligation to accommodate it, they fulfilled it perfectly. I truly appreciate that.
Every fish arrived alive, and not just alive, but incredibly healthy. They even laid eggs inside the shipping bag! They have been settling in wonderfully for the past few days, and they are all beautiful fish in my eyes. Honestly, I was surprised by how pretty they are.
I have purchased S-grade fish before, and of course, you can tell the difference between these and S-grade fish. However, these fish are extremely healthy, beautiful, and each one has its own unique characteristics. Don’t hesitate to order!
Another great order from SNR. I had two DOA of the smaller ones - likely since it’s hot and the shipper delayed from morning until evening - but all the rest have acclimated well and are happy and healthy a few weeks later. Enjoying my Island of Misfit Toys and now culls from some of my other little ponds will have a family to live out their days with. It’s fun trying to guess what strain they are as they grow up! Despite being culls, they are still pretty little ones and in good health. This is a great way to simply get a lot of Medaka to enjoy for the sake of having Medaka at a very low and reasonable price for quality fish. I appreciate the extras for DOA arrivals, too. Usually all my SNR fish make the trip, but this time of year that trip was a bit harder.

This is great way to see all different types of Medaka. I ended up ordering other colors that I would’ve never gotten, because of this mixed variety.
Ordered the mixed cull set with 2 groups, and about 4-5 were DOA, which is not too bad. Over time, though, more of them passed away, and I am not sure if it was disease or heat from travel. Now I am down to about 5 of them. Added them to the rest of my medaka and the remaining survivors are thriving.
They arrived healthy and active. Ate well and have been thriving.

I was so excited when the mixed culls were available again and was lucky to get 2 groups. They kindly gave me a few extra medaka in each bag and I am so thankful. All arrived very healthy and active. All very beautiful as well. Some even had eggs. I didn't think they'd survive but many of them have eyes now, so they just might hatch. So fun to find out what you'll get in the bag! Highly recommend getting some when available. Love SNR USA and if I had room for 30 ponds I'd buy endless medaka from them :)

Gorgeous fish! These are for a Skittles mix in my pond and they are so lively and gorgeous. Pick up was fast and simple as well and staff is so helpful with any questions. Deeply impressed with this company.
